The Desk Officer is the shortboard go-to board from Cardinal Surfboards, designed in collaboration with shaper Thomas Bexon. Its nose slightly wider profile provides comfort and easy takeoff, while the simple concave design nose that doubles concave as a footrest keeps the board agile in tight turns.

At what level?
Intermediate confirmed. It also fits very well on larger sizes, which can still be fitted with a shortboard short length without sacrificing maneuverability.

Beach breaks and medium-sized waves, with a preference for hollow sections where the board can work in the pocket. The nose wide board helps with late take-offs.

Radical maneuvers in the pocket. The Desk Officer is designed to make quick turns, stick to the curl, and make tight turns rather than drawing long lines.
What place in your quiver?
The quiver shortboard length: Cardinal advises taking it 2 to 3 inches shorter than your shortboard usual length. It complements a longer board for days when it’s windy.

Shipping
Here, every order is prepared with care and shipped within 24 business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. Once your order is confirmed, our logistics team quickly takes charge to ensure efficient processing. We work exclusively with Chronopost, a carrier renowned for its reliability and speed of delivery across Europe.
The boards receive special attention: they are carefully packaged in eco-friendly materials, designed to protect them as much as possible while reducing the environmental impact of our shipments.
Retour
14 jours pour changer d’avis après réception. Elle doit revenir dans l’état où tu l’as reçue : elle n’a pas vu l’eau. Garde le carton d’origine, c’est la meilleure protection pour le retour.
Le port retour est à ta charge. Tu ne sais pas comment renvoyer une planche ? On te guide : le carton, un devis transporteur, le suivi. Écris à contact@shapersclub.com ou appelle le 05 46 27 00 27.
Une planche custom ou une pièce La Cave finie à ta demande après notre appel ne se retourne pas : elle est fabriquée pour toi.
Après-vente et réparation
Garantie légale de conformité : 2 ans, sur toutes les planches.
Planches de l’atelier (UWL, Cardinal, Addiction, McCallum, Fitzgerald et planches de nos guest shapers fabriquées à Marennes) : 1 an sur les vices de fabrication, en plus.

Deliveries
Delivery is available throughout Europe. Delivery times may vary depending on your delivery address, but you will always receive a tracking number once your order has shipped, allowing you to track its progress in real time.
Delivery fees are set at 12 euros for standard products. For boards, due to their size and the precautions taken during transport, fees amount to 85 euros.
If you live near our shop, you can opt for free in-store pickup, a simple and quick alternative to collect your order without additional charges.
Taxes
The prices displayed on our website are in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC), including the VAT applicable in France on the day of the order.
The price invoiced is that indicated at the time of your order confirmation. Delivery charges, if applicable, are specified before final validation and added to the total amount.
We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time, but products will always be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is placed.

Combien de litres pour mon poids ?
Utilise le module « Ton volume » plus haut sur la fiche : ton poids et ton niveau donnent une fourchette en litres. C’est un guide ; si tu es entre deux, appelle-nous au 05 46 27 00 27.
Les dérives sont-elles incluses ?
Non, sauf mention « Dérives incluses : oui » sur la fiche. Le set adapté au montage de la planche est proposé juste sous le bouton d’achat.
Combien coûte le port ?
45 € pour un shortboard ou un mid-length, 65 € pour un longboard, retrait gratuit à l’atelier de Marennes. Le montant exact s’affiche avant le paiement.
Et si elle arrive cassée ?
Ouvre le colis devant le livreur et envoie-nous des photos sous 48 h. On gère le transporteur : réparation à l’atelier ou remplacement.
Je me suis trompé de volume, je fais quoi ?
Tu as 14 jours si elle n’a pas vu l’eau. Appelle-nous avant de la renvoyer : on cherche ensemble la bonne taille.
Quel délai : stock ou custom ?
En stock : départ de l’atelier sous 24 h ouvrées, livraison en 72 h environ. Custom ou La Cave : délai confirmé par téléphone, selon le planning de l’atelier.
