Detailed description

The CI Mid Twin is a modern mid-length designed for those who want to recapture the flow and glide of a twin, while still having a board that can push hard when conditions open up. Developed by Britt Merrick in collaboration with Devon Howard, it's the "more responsive" and contemporary version of a mid-length: it takes off quickly, accelerates naturally, and gives you that typical twin feeling of freedom when you trim down the line.

What's truly interesting about it is that it's not just an "easy" board. The CI Mid Twin is often described as a reactive and high-performance mid-length, capable of drawing classic lines with very fluid speed, but also of engaging in more committed turns with good drive. You can surf more relaxed, smoother, or on the contrary, push a bit harder: it maintains control and remains lively underfoot.

At 6'6 (40.1L), you have a super interesting format for regular use: comfortable paddling, easy take-offs, and enough length/volume up front to be well-positioned and catch more waves without forcing it. It's a very good option if you want a "fun" board that works in everyday waves, but can also handle more solid conditions when it's clean and lined up.

Conditions & program (simply): it's made for going fast and having a blast in small to medium waves, and it remains comfortable up to overhead in clean waves (beach breaks, point breaks), with a fluid, fast, and very fun surf.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right board size?

We base our recommendations on your skill level, build, goals (easy take-off, maneuverability, speed), and usual conditions. If you're unsure, contact us: we'll guide you quickly.

Are the boards made in France?

Yes: our surfboards are shaped and finished in a workshop in France, with real quality control at each stage.

What materials/constructions do you offer?

Depending on the models: resin (PU/PE), epoxy (EPS), and sometimes specific constructions (reinforcements, lamination options). Each product page specifies the construction.

Can I customize a board?

Yes, on some models: artwork, finishes, fin boxes, shape adjustments (depending on feasibility). Write to us with the model + your information (height/weight/level).

Are surfboards sold with fins?

Generally, no (unless "fins included" is mentioned on the product sheet). We can advise you on a set adapted to the model and your style.

What are the lead times and delivery for a board?

Items in stock sell out quickly. For custom orders, the lead time depends on the workshop schedule. Delivery is secure with reinforced packaging.
