Mikey February's Mikey Shorty (MFS) marks a return to his high-performance shortboard roots. From his amateur beginnings in South Africa to his time on the WSL Championship Tour, the foundation of Mikey's surfing has always been precision. Developed with Britt Merrick, this model features his signature Swirl Hex and has become a preferred choice for many surfers on the WSL tour.



In terms of feel, the Mikey Shorty (MFS) sits between the user-friendliness of the Two Happy and the ultra-high performance precision of the 2.Pro — emphasizing the flow and freedom of both. It is recommended to choose this board in the same size as your usual shortboard. Its progressive rocker offers a balance between drive and control, suitable for both front-foot and back-foot surfers, with a wide sweet spot. A subtle hip near the fins tightens turns and improves responsiveness in the pocket.

Its high-performance outline ensures clean speed and release without sacrificing flow, while refined rails maintain sensitivity. Under the board, a single concave evolving into a double, from the front foot to the fins, provides lift, control, and smooth rail-to-rail transitions.
Controlled power and versatility: the Shorty channels Mikey's signature style, from perfectly aligned point breaks to hollower, more powerful beach breaks.

La Mikey Shorty (MFS) de Mikey February marque un retour à ses racines de shortboarder haute performance. Depuis ses débuts amateurs en Afrique du Sud jusqu’à son passage sur le WSL Championship Tour, la base du surf de Mikey a toujours été la précision. Développé avec Britt Merrick, ce modèle arbore son Swirl Hex signature et est devenu un choix qu'ont privilégiés de nombreux surfeurs du tour WSL.


Au niveau des sensations, la Mikey Shorty (MFS) se situe entre la facilité d’utilisation de la Two Happy et la précision ultra-performante de la 2.Pro — en mettant l’accent sur la fluidité et la liberté des deux. Il est conseillé de choisir cette planche dans la même taille que votre shortboard habituel. Son rocker progressif offre un équilibre entre relance et contrôle, convenant aussi bien aux appuis sur le pied avant que sur le pied arrière, avec une large zone de tolérance. Un hip subtil près des dérives resserre les courbes et améliore la réactivité dans le pocket.

Delivery fees are set at 12 euros for standard products. For boards, due to their size and the precautions taken during transport, fees amount to 85 euros.

If you live near our shop, you can opt for free in-store pickup, a simple and quick alternative to collect your order without additional charges.

Taxes

The prices displayed on our website are in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC), including the VAT applicable in France on the day of the order.

The price invoiced is that indicated at the time of your order confirmation. Delivery charges, if applicable, are specified before final validation and added to the total amount.

We base our recommendations on your skill level, build, goals (easy take-off, maneuverability, speed), and usual conditions. If you're unsure, contact us: we'll guide you quickly.

Are the boards made in France?

Yes: our surfboards are shaped and finished in a workshop in France, with real quality control at each stage.

What materials/constructions do you offer?

Depending on the models: resin (PU/PE), epoxy (EPS), and sometimes specific constructions (reinforcements, lamination options). Each product page specifies the construction.

Can I customize a board?

Yes, on some models: artwork, finishes, fin boxes, shape adjustments (depending on feasibility). Write to us with the model + your information (height/weight/level).

Are surfboards sold with fins?

Generally, no (unless "fins included" is mentioned on the product sheet). We can advise you on a set adapted to the model and your style.

What are the lead times and delivery for a board?

Items in stock sell out quickly. For custom orders, the lead time depends on the workshop schedule. Delivery is secure with reinforced packaging.
