At the heart of innovation and tradition, Shapers Club embodies the rebirth of artisan surfing. Founded by the Cardinal brothers, who have been passionate about surfing since their early childhood, this collective brings together artisans from around the world, uniting traditional know-how and modern technologies to create exceptional boards.
Motivation
The essence of Shapers Club lies in its commitment to perpetuate the art of shaping while incorporating environmentally friendly practices. With a range composed of 90% natural materials, they offer a sustainable alternative without compromising performance and style.
This workshop, which has become a global benchmark, has distinguished itself by its capacity for innovation. By collaborating with legends such as Jeff “Doc” Lausch, Malcolm Campbell, Joshua Martin, Neal Purchases Jnr, Joel Fitzgerald.... and luxury or French brands like Renault, Shapers Club constantly pushes the boundaries of creativity and excellence.
Their recent initiative, the move near the iconic spots of Marennes d'Oléron, symbolizes this perpetual quest for integration with surf culture. The new building, an 1800m² space, offers an immersive experience where surfers can observe the birth of their board, interact with international shapers, or simply share a beer among enthusiasts.
Shapers Club thus embodies a collective vision, that of a community united by the love of surfing, where craftsmanship meets innovation to create not only boards, but also stories. The future of artisan surfing is being written today at Shapers Club, and it is an adventure to which every surfer is invited to participate.
