Clément Roseyro was on fire this year! A quick look back at his best waves: with two bombs scored 7.50 and 6.83, he dominated the competition. In the final, he didn't falter against international big names, such as Brazilian Lucas Chianca or Scottish Ben Larg. Roseyro was clearly in his zone, perfectly positioned, with steel technique and mindset. The result: he wrapped up the competition like a boss. Here are the full rankings and other highlights from the men's side.

Justine Dupont made a victorious comeback after her maternity leave, and frankly, she hasn't lost an ounce of talent. She tamed the Portuguese monsters with impressive ease. Her wave choices made all the difference, with a super effective strategy and perfect timing. In two or three waves, Justine left everyone in agreement and clearly showed that she remains the boss among women. Here we revisit her key waves and the final women's rankings.

For those new to it, the team competition in Nazaré is simple: each team is made up of two surfers who combine their best waves to score as high as possible. This year, Clément Roseyro (him again!) teamed up with local Portuguese surfer Nic Von Rupp to form an ultra-solid duo. Thanks to their clear chemistry, they perfectly exploited Nazaré's waves. Their strategy, clearly, was attack! And it paid off as they won the event hands down. Here is also the final podium and the other teams that made their mark on the competition.

🤙 Unusual Fact: Kai Lenny Forgets His Boards!

An incredible anecdote from this 2025 edition: Kai Lenny, one of the best big-wave surfers in the world, completely forgot his boards at the airport! The result? He had to borrow an old local board, completely unsuitable for the XXL conditions. Despite this major handicap, Kai still managed some impressive waves. Clearly not his best result, but a great memory for him and for the spectators!
